HOW TO ENTER THE ABOVE SWEEPSTAKES:

NO PURCHASE OR CONTRIBUTION NECESSARY. MAKING A PURCHASE OR CONTRIBUTION WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING THIS CONTEST.

Entries for the above sweepstakes can be made by making a membership contribution to Southern California Public Radio between May 16, 2009 12:01 a.m. PST and June 12, 2009 11:59 p.m. PST. To make an entry without contributing, click here. Entries with incomplete information will be disqualified. Limit one entry per household. Multiple entries, if discovered, will be disqualified. No mechanical reproductions of entries allowed.

ELIGIBILITY: Any legal resident of the United States who is 18 years of age or older can enter the sweepstakes, except persons who on or after November 21, 2008 were or are employees of American Public Media Group and its related organizations (including Southern California Public Radio), their immediate family or persons living in the same household. Void where prohibited by law.

PRIZE VALUE: $19,000

PRIZE DETAILS: Winner will be awarded a new 2008 Miles ZK40s electric vehicle.

SELECTION AND NOTIFICATION OF WINNERS: One winner and four back up names for the prize will be selected by random drawing. Winner will be drawn no later than June 22, 2009. Winner will be notified by telephone, e-mail or certified mail. If KPCC is unable to reach the winner, prize notification is returned as undeliverable, or the winner is unable to accept the prize within 14 days of notification, the un-awarded prize will go to the first back up and subsequent back ups thereof until the prize is awarded. Winner must sign a release form prior to awarding of prize. The odds of winning are dependent upon the number of eligible entries received.

CLAIMING PRIZE: Winner will take delivery of prize and related documents 89.3 KPCC, 1570 E. Colorado, Pasadena, CA, 91106 within 30 days of accepting the prize.

GENERAL: By participating in the Sweepstakes, participants agree that 89.3 KPCC, Southern California Public Radio, American Public Media Group, Miles Electric Vehicles and related organizations, their agents and employees, have no liability whatsoever for any injuries, losses, or damages of any kind which result from use of the prize, or by participation in the sweepstakes. The Prize is non-transferable, and cannot be exchanged for cash. There can be no substitutions, except that Sponsor may substitute a prize for one of equal or greater value if due to prize unavailability. Southern California Public Radio may use winners' names and likenesses for publicity purposes without further compensation, except where prohibited. Winner is liable for any additional expenses, including insurance, registration, license, and federal and state taxes. We recommend consulting your tax advisor before accepting the prize.

RESTRICTIONS: By participating in the Sweepstakes, a participant agrees to be bound by these Official Rules, and by all decisions of the contest judges.
