LA sheriffs clear out homeless encampment

If you travel the intersection of the 605 and 10 freeways, you might have driven over a homeless encampment Los Angeles County Sheriff's officials dismantled this week. But few outsiders saw the men, women, and children who lived there in what L.A. County Sheriff's spokesman Steve Whitmore described to KPCC's Shirley Jahad as some of the worst living conditions he's ever seen.
