Rob Strauss began his radio news career in college, working for news and talk radio stations in Seattle.

He graduated from the University of La Verne, and then worked for six years at KFWB, four of those as weekend morning editor. He liked coming in before dawn so much (love that traffic!) that he moved on to his current position, where he, among other things, helps write stories and tracks down interviews for Morning Edition.

When he's not at work, Rob enjoys playing the guitar and gets his exercise chasing his three kids around the house.
