Los Angeles, CA (Thurs., Feb. 17, 2005) - Talk of the City host Kitty Felde is broadcasting live from Lynwood's Libreria Martinez Books and Art Gallery to discuss community redevelopment on February 28 from 2 to 3 p.m. The Libreria Martinez Books and Art Gallery is located at 3170 East Imperial Highway, Suite B, in Lynwood's Plaza Mexico. The public is encouraged to attend. Seating is first-come, first-serve.
The show will focus on cities such as Lynwood and Paramount, which have creatively reinvented themselves to improve their community. Lynwood, for example, has a Korean developer building a replica of a Mexican plaza, and Paramount uses white picket fences as a way to improve property values.
