89.3 KPCC's Second Live Remote in AirTalk 20th Anniversary Tour Covers Arts and Culture in the Black Community
Pasadena, CA (Fri., Jan. 28, 2005) - On Friday, February 4 at 10 a.m., 89.3 KPCC will broadcast AirTalk live from Leimert Park, the second stop in the AirTalk 20th Anniversary Tour. AirTalk host Larry Mantle will be joined by a panel of guests at the Lucy Florence Coffee House in Los Angeles to discuss arts and culture within the black community.
Other topics covered in this round-table discussion are the upcoming Pan African Film and Arts Festival, black car culture and much more. Listeners are invited to attend the event and must R.S.V.P. to AirTalk@kpcc.org. The Lucy Florence Coffee House is located at 3351 West 43rd St., Los Angeles.
Mantle has hosted AirTalk since its inception in April 1985 making it the longest continuously running radio talk show in Southern California. Throughout 2005, 89.3 KPCC will be celebrating AirTalk's 20th anniversary with broadcasts from a different significant Southern California location each month.
