Recognizing the enormous impact of the Brown vs. Board ruling, The California African American Museum has mounted an historical and artistic inquiry, Through the Gates: Brown v. Board of Education. This milestone exhibition commemorates the trials of school desegregation through a legal ruling that was particularly relevant to African Americans, but equally applicable to all Americans. The exhibition is on view until July 31.
