Party Affiliation

It doesn't matter if you're a Republican, Democrat or Independent: when voters from across the political spectrum need high quality, in-depth news coverage, 89.3 KPCC is the station that they depend on.

The following chart compares political party affiliation for the total populations of LA County, Orange County and the Los Angeles Metro with the party affiliation of KPCC listeners from the same area. As you can see, the political outlook of our audience is remarkably similar to that of the region as a whole. In addition, our listeners are somewhat more likely to describe themselves as Independent leaning Republican or Democrat than the overall population, and less likely to list "other" as a party affiliation.
